Why should I hire a Nurse Attorney for my Florida medical malpractice case?
Even in cases that seem to be clear-cut, medical malpractice cases are still difficult. Most attorneys, because they don’t have the medical background, training, and experience, need to rely on other healthcare providers to interpret the medical records for them. For example, most attorneys who handle malpractice cases hire a nurse to review the medical records and do a timeline and give an opinion on whether there’s a case or not. As a registered nurse, I don’t need to do that. I know what goes on behind-the-scenes. I know the standard of care. I review my own medical records and therefore save the client tens of thousands of dollars in costs.
