No. Medical malpractice cases are very difficult, and most attorneys do not have the medical background, experience, or training necessary to understand and handle a medical malpractice case. For example, most lawyers rely on other healthcare providers to review the medical records to tell him or her what happened, or they’ll hire a nurse to review the records to put the pieces of the puzzle together. However, as a registered nurse, I am able to review the medical records, figure out what happened fairly quickly, and put those missing pieces of the puzzle together.
